Aston on Trent lies just off the A50, south of Derby. The A50 is a link road between M6 Junction 15 at Stoke and M1 Junction 24 East Midlands Airport.

East Leave the A50 at the first exit signposted Castle Donington and Long Eaton. Over the bridge and take exit marked Shardlow (weight restriction for heavy goods), pass Cantonese Restaurant on left, through Shardlow and turn left at Dog and Duck.
Once in Aston, turn right at the White Hart. Yeoman House faces you.

West Take the Chellaston/Swarkstone junction and head south towards Swadlincote/Melbourne. After 400 metres and before the canal, turn left at "Cuttle Cottage". Follow the road through Weston, at Aston Post Office turn left and then right opposite the White Hart.

North Take A6 from Derby (or use A50 and follow instructions above). At the double roundabout head towards Shardlow then take the first right hand turn signposted Aston and Weston. Over the A50 and down into the village. At the White Hart turn left.
